Free bundles keep the wheels turning for SMEs and micro businesses

The current health crisis has completely changed the way we live and work. Social distancing has required many businesses and employees to adjust to working from home, which has resulted both challenges and opportunities. Vodafone UK therefore created a package of measures to make sure the country’s small and medium-sized businesses were able to adapt.

Planned upgrades were brought forward to add four terabits per second of additional capacity to our network in March and April and ensure remote workers can work from home with minimal disruption. Vodafone Business also set up dedicated teams to support our business customers, both big and small, to quickly provide the additional services they need to keep their business running during this challenging time.

Working with our industry partners, we swiftly updated our online marketplace to offer six months of free access to Microsoft Teams and Lookout cyber security to all new and existing customers. Furthermore, we are also committed to pay all orders issued to our micro and small suppliers across Europe in 15 days, as opposed to the usual 30 to 60, to help ease the economic impact.

Additionally, we are preparing for the future by formulating more robust and modern infrastructures. The Vodafone team has come together, working around the clock, to make sure our customers and critical services continue to run seamlessly. With no immediate end in sight for the current pandemic, these working conditions may remain our way of life for the foreseeable future. Therefore, we are continuously working with our partners so that we can provide a well-connected and stable solution for our customers, industry peers and governments.
