Vodafone today announced that Ronald Schellekens, its Group Human Resources Director, has informed the company of his intention to take up a new, external opportunity in the United States. Ronald will be leaving Vodafone in January 2019.
During his ten years in the role, Ronald has built a world-class human resources function, a high-performance culture and added new talent and strategic capabilities to support Vodafone’s transition into a converged telecommunications company. He has also strengthened our international senior talent and driven our diversity and inclusion programmes, which have supported women – through maternity initiatives and career-break policies – and ensured Vodafone is recognised as a great employer amongst the LGBT+ community.
Vodafone Group Chief Executive Nick Read said “Ronald has been an outstanding colleague who has made an immense contribution during his time with Vodafone. He has been instrumental in shaping our organisation, culture and people agenda and I wish him every success in his new role.”
Vodafone will be announcing Ronald’s successor in due course.
