Vodafone adds HBO Max to Vodafone TV in four European markets

Vodafone adds HBO Max in Portugal, Hungary, Romania and Czech Republic

• HBO Max platform brings Warner Bros, HBO, DC, Cartoon Network and Max Originals to Vodafone TV
• Available from today to Vodafone TV subscribers

Vodafone is to offer the WarnerMedia streaming platform HBO Max to Vodafone TV in Portugal, Hungary, Romania and the Czech Republic, adding a compelling catalogue of entertainment content. HBO Max will replace the existing HBO branded on demand services in these countries.

HBO Max will be available to Vodafone TV subscribers from today and will be accessible through a number of the available packages in the four countries. Access will be provided also through latest-generation Vodafone set-top boxes.

The arrival of HBO Max in Portugal, Hungary, Romania and the Czech Republic marks an expansion of HBO Max in Europe and follows its arrival in October last year on the Vodafone TV platform in Spain. HBO Max brings together for the first time the biggest entertainment from Warner Bros – including the latest cinematic releases – plus film and television content from HBO, DC Entertainment, the Cartoon Network and Max Originals.

The HBO Max platform also offers selected content with 5.1 surround sound and Dolby Atmos audio. Vodafone TV subscribers will be able to enjoy advanced features, including the ability to customise up to five HBO Max user profiles per household, up to three simultaneous streams, and downloadable content to watch offline.
