Our ESG approach
Vodafone's ESG strategy sets targets around the three pillars of people, planet and trust. Our approach ensures we act responsibly and ethically. We also commit to supporting delivery of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (‘SDGs’).
Respecting human rights
At Vodafone we aim to have a positive impact on people and society, which includes respecting human rights.
As well as the positive opportunities we create, we are conscious of the human rights risks associated with our operations. We seek to ensure that we are never complicit – directly or indirectly – in human rights abuses.
How we manage our supply chain
Meeting our business and customer needs relies on complex and multi-layer global supply chains. Our policies state how we expect environmental and social issues to be managed in our supply chain. We engage with our suppliers to ask them to uphold our policies and values, and have management processes and systems in place to monitor supplier performance in implementing our ethical, labour and environmental standards.
