Setting the vision
The Board of Directors’ role is to provide vision and innovative leadership while taking a responsible approach to risk. They set our purpose, values and strategy; and weave these into our culture. Committed to transparency, the Board is accountable for creating sustainable value for shareholders and ensuring we have a positive impact on society.
Delivering strategy
Our Executive Committee guides the implementation of our evolving strategy. Senior committee members include our CEO (pictured) and CFO; our Executive Chairman of Vodafone Germany and CEO European Markets; as well as CEOs of Vodafone Africa, Business, and Investments & Strategy. Executives in HR, legal, technology, network, external and corporate affairs, and global commercial operations also sit on this committee.

To support leadership that drives innovation, social responsibility, and the highest compliance standards, the Board has set up Committees. These cover technology; remuneration; audit and risk; nominations and governance; and environmental social and governance (ESG).
