Vodafone Porsche season 8 calendar

All calendar updates depend on travel restrictions, as well as local government protocols and are subject to approval of the FIA World Motor Sport Council.

The new Porsche 99X Electric car with our drivers, André Lotterer (GER/#36) and Pascal Wehrlein (GER/#94), has laid a foundation for a successful season with both members earning points in our second race in Diriyah.

First 2 races of the season

Over the opening weekend of Season 8, André Lotterer had a good qualifying performance, starting the race from the fifth grid spot, on the 2.495-kilometre racetrack near the capital Riyadh. André drove with the leading pack over the entire distance. However, with just several minutes of racing to go, a competitor’s accident saw the Porsche Taycan Turbo S safety car deployed. André ended the race 4th under the safety car, narrowly missing out on his first podium of the year.
