In South Africa, Vodacom’s Mum & Baby platform provides free health information to parents and caregivers on the different stages of pregnancy, and is designed for those on low incomes. Since launch, 1.5 million registered users have accessed this free health information.

Provide 100,000 opportunities for young people to receive a digital learning experience at Vodafone

Through our What will you be? programme, we are providing young people with career guidance and access to training content and jobs. As part of this, our Future Jobs Finder helps young people gain new skills and discover opportunities for employment in the growing digital economy.

Energy efficiency

By improving the energy efficiency of our operations and moving to purchase renewable electricity, we can substantially reduce our emissions, while our Internet of Things (IoT) technology can also help our customers to reduce theirs.

To purchase 100% of the electricity we use from renewable sources

As a world leader in IoT mobile services, we are helping our customers manage their energy more efficiently and reduce their emissions. This year we helped our customers reduce their greenhouse gas emissions by 2.9 tonnes for every tonne generated from our operations.
