Stefano leads the Internet of Things (IoT) business unit where he is responsible for driving IoT growth, business strategy, products and profit and loss at a global level, including the Vodafone Automotive business.
Prior to this role, Stefano was CEO of Vodafone Egypt, responsible for the strategy, business operations and the full profit and loss of the business. Vodafone Egypt has over 40 million customers and is the leading brand in telecommunications in Egypt. In this position Stefano improved NPS in consumer and business, driving revenues and market share from 40% to 45% in two years.
In 2014 Stefano was appointed CEO of Vodafone Partner Markets where he was responsible for forming strategic alliances with local operators around the world to extend Vodafone’s reach. The Partner Markets division currently has 31 partners in over 45 countries.
Stefano joined Vodafone in 2004 and has held a number of senior positions in both consumer and business in Vodafone Italy and Vodafone Ireland. Stefano was Consumer Business Unit Director and sat on the Executive board of Vodafone Ireland and Vodafone Italy.
Before joining Vodafone, Stefano worked for five years in management consulting at Bain and before that in consumer products in Sara Lee and Philips.
