How Enterprise Mobility Management can support organisations with GDPR compliance

Background

GDPR is a modernisation of data protection laws in the EU most of which were drawn up in the 1990s before mass Internet adoption. The GDPR legislation became enforceable on 25 May 2018. Many organisations have already understood the implications and have put in place plans to achieve compliance. The first step is to establish a programme that moves the organisation through a process of ‘Discovery’ of the personal data they process. Then it is followed by a gap analysis against GDPR of the personal data processing practices to identify any need for improvement.
