VODAFONE NAMED LEADER IN OVUM DECISION MATRIX FOR SELECTING A MOBILE WORKSPACE SERVICE PROVIDER
Vodafone announced today that it is recognised as the leader by Ovum in the European managed mobile workspace services market. The Ovum Decision Matrix for Selecting a Mobile Workspace Service Provider in Europe 2016 reports on capabilities critical for companies to successfully thrive in a rapidly evolving mobile workspace market. The report praises Vodafone for its strong commercial approach to managed mobility services, which have been developed with mobility at the core, and its comprehensive managed mobility service offer.
Vodafone achieved high scores for its differentiated service offering achieved through its ability to recognise the specific issues that its customers experience in supporting mobility for employees, including across national borders. Vodafone’s development and delivery of globally consistent products through its managed mobility services is the cornerstone of its mobile workspace strategy. Vodafone One Net Enterprise, for example, meets customer’s needs by providing mobility from deep infrastructure managed service (IMS) integration, enabling native mobile unified communication (UC) features on any device.
“Vodafone’s clear and focused approach to helping large businesses manage mobility, and its globally consistent offer are behind its position as market leader. Vodafone’s mobile heritage gives it advantages over its other fixed-network global competitors in this market. Mobility is not an add-on feature for Vodafone, nor does it sit in another parallel organisation and many of its enterprise services have been developed with mobility at their core.” said Pauline Trotter, Practice Leader, Workspace Services, at Ovum
Vodafone Global Enterprise Chief Executive Erik Brenneis said, "We are delighted to be ranked by Ovum as a leader and this further validates our momentum in the managed mobile workspace market and highlights Vodafone’s continuous ability to meet and invest in a wide range of requirements to suit our customer’s needs for mobile applications and the mobilisation of business processes”
This recognition is complemented by the Ovum Decision Matrix for Selecting a Mobile Workspace Provider in Asia- Pacific that places Vodafone as a leader with praise for its strong track-record, highly regarded customer service, robust enterprise managed mobility and mobile applications offerings in region
