Gartner positions Vodafone as a Visionary in its Magic Quadrant for Managed Mobility Services, Worldwide

Press Release

16 November 2016

Vodafone has been named by Gartner as a Visionary in the Magic Quadrant for Managed Mobility Services, Worldwide* for the fourth consecutive year.

Vodafone views this positioning as evidence of the quality and stability of the services it provides, combined with good customer feedback on the company’s programme management, technical capabilities, and device financing programmes, and the positive customer experience being delivered.

“We believe that being positioned as a Visionary in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Managed Mobility Services, Worldwide for the fourth consecutive year further validates the unmatched breadth and depth of our global network, our strong credentials in mobile device management and our compelling value proposition to customers,” said Vodafone Global Enterprise CEO, Erik Brenneis. “In the past 12 months, we have built on our position by continuing to focus on our strategy of being a total communications provider to large multinational corporations around the world.”

Vodafone believes its mobile heritage and expertise make it the best positioned company in the market to help customers develop the right mobility strategy for their business. What makes Vodafone unique is the combination of its global network and local expertise with its ability to consolidate operational requirements and address the total communications needs of large global companies. By offering an integrated and comprehensive service portfolio ranging from connectivity and mobility to UC, IoT and cloud & hosting, Vodafone drives more flexibility, productivity and business value to its customers.

Brenneis continued: “In the last year, we have grown the number of devices under management considerably. We will look to build on this strong growth and take advantage of the economies of scale that come with it to help our customers, particularly those with large global smartphone and tablet estates, improve efficiency and increase revenues.”
