Vodafone as premier sponsor at the 2014 Gartner Symposia

Events and Webinars

Vodafone Global Enterprise attended the 2014 Gartner Symposia in Cape Town, Orlando and Barcelona to demonstrate how organisations can employ total communications solutions to establish better connections between people, places and things, and become Ready Businesses.

Gartner Symposium ITxpo is the world’s most important gathering of CIOs and senior IT executives, providing a strategic view on the trends that shape IT and businesses. The lines between digital and physical in business are blurring and capitalising on this change can be a challenge. This year’s theme of “Driving Digital Business” focused on how CIOs and senior IT executives can make the most of digital opportunities and evolve their leadership in IT to become indispensable in the new digital business world.

At this year’s symposia, as one of the event’s Premier sponsors, Vodafone Global Enterprise showcased how its Total Communications solutions help enable organisations to become Ready Businesses. CIOs and IT leaders can unlock value by building an interconnected enterprise across an organisation’s people, places and things. Vodafone hosted two sessions at the event on how they can go about doing this:

How to become a Ready Business in a digital age:

"To thrive, you have to be ready for change"

Jan Geldmacher, Chief Executive Officer at Vodafone Global Enterprise, demonstrated how our enterprise customer journey allows business to gain better operational agility, better connected employees and better customer engagement. He spoke of how this would help enable businesses to make the most of any emerging opportunity, whilst also being able to react swiftly to imminent threats.

Age of Empowerment: Total Communications @ Vodafone:

"A Ready Business is totally connected and with everything connected you are ready for almost anything"

Mike Luntz, Head of Cloud Services, Product Management at Vodafone Global Enterprise discussed how utilising total communications technology can help businesses create new sources of competitive advantage by improving the speed and quality of decision making, creating new products and services, or even developing deeper customer insights and relationships.
