You don’t have to go far within Vodafone Business to find a Star Wars fan, myself included.
For more than 40 years, the popular saga has captured the world’s imagination with its conflict between good and evil, the tales of heroism and the inspiring, limitless potential of the individual.
You can imagine the excitement then, when we had the opportunity to partner with the European film premiere for the final chapter of the Skywalker saga; Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
Held in London’s Leicester Square in December 2019, Vodafone Business branding will be visible on the red carpet and throughout the premiere.
To be involved with a film franchise of such renown is a privilege and gives us a great opportunity to increase brand awareness and tell the story of Vodafone Business.
Technology is core to the films and a clear link to what we do. Looking at the themes of innovation, empowerment, bravery and self-discovery that will run throughout the film, we started thinking about how these relate to our own business, and to the businesses we work with.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is about a new generation with fresh skills, style and values that are propelling them to take control of their destinies.
And similarly, for businesses to grow, innovate and compete in this new world, they need access to cutting-edge technology, powered by fast and reliable connectivity that matches their ambition and vision.
This is where Vodafone Business steps in. We want all businesses to benefit from innovative technology and move onto their next phase and be ready for the future, whatever that may look like.
Whether it’s disruptive start-ups, established companies, or a family-led business passing the mantle onto the next generation, we are the perfect ally to help our customers to confidently master the technology to support their next step.
As CEO, my job is to ensure we are always putting the customer at the forefront of everything we do.
This is why we are creating a content campaign, to run alongside this exciting event, that will explore the next generation of business and highlight the customers making a real difference.
And some of the work they are doing is truly incredible.
From those empowering the sports leaders of tomorrow with the correct training and courses, to a not-for-profit business fighting malnutrition in Africa, these organisations are leading the way to a better future.
At Vodafone Business, we’re extremely proud to know that we have helped them get there by providing impactful business outcomes such as faster connectivity on the go or using the Internet of Things to help optimise performance.
Working with each customer to understand their daily challenges, but also the challenges within their industry as a whole, we can create an offering that suits their unique business needs.
Going beyond mobile, we deliver innovative and game-changing technologies like 5G, cloud, SD-WAN, data analytics and IoT, helping businesses succeed in this ever-changing digital world.
So what does the future look like for you and your business?
We’re ready, are you?
