IoT is one of the central pillars of digitalisation, with adopters becoming increasingly reliant on the technology. According to the latest Vodafone IoT Barometer, 76% of adopters describe their IoT projects as ‘mission-critical’ and 8% say their “entire business depends on IoT”.

We believe our position in the “Leaders” quadrant recognises our:

  • Continued growth. We now have 94 million managed IoT connections around the world
  • Truly global coverage. This now includes partnerships with China Mobile and America Movil, allowing us to provide customers with IoT connectivity in some of the most complex regulatory markets, and
  • Creative and innovative approach to building IoT solutions for customers. This includes our ARM partnership, which removes cost and complexity for OEMs developing connected products, and solutions that deliver high-value business outcomes, such as stolen vehicle tracking and assisted living.

Gartner describes companies in the “Leaders” quadrant as:

“Providers in the Leaders quadrant are performing well today and maintain a stable organization with a clear vision of market direction. They deliver comprehensive portfolios of network services, across broad geographies, with good service quality. They address the global networking needs of a broad range of enterprises is terms of size, geographic distribution and vertical industry. Leaders shape the direction of the market by extending their coverage, developing new class-leading capabilities and new commercial models, and deploying these at scale.”
