Vodafone has been recognised by Gartner as a “Visionary” in its Magic Quadrant for Managed Mobility Services, Global 2020, for the seventh consecutive time.

We believe Gartner defines the MMS market as a set of capabilities that make sure mobile estates are operating efficiently and cost-effectively. This includes corporate-liable devices as well as individual-liable, or bring your own device (BYOD) users with access to corporate data and resources.

From mobile devices and network services, to related management systems and mobile applications, we understand that the Magic Quadrant considers how these services are provided in the planning stage, right through to execution and support.

This year’s report paid special attention to whether enterprises support the lifecycle management of mobile devices and offer business process administration such as expense management or asset management and logistics (e.g. recycling).

We believe our position recognises our enhanced MMS offering:

  • We have Europe’s largest 5G network. We provide commercial 5G services in seven countries, with services live in over 60 major cities.
  • Our voice and data Red tariffs gives business customers the freedom to use their devices both at home and abroad
  • Using Vodafone Telecoms Reporting, the customer has added visibility and control of its mobile and fixed telecom spend and usage, at zero cost
  • Our Device Lifecycle Management service comes in a variety of new, flexible financing options which help customers manage more complex mobile estates in more countries around the globe
  • Using Unified Endpoint Management, our customer’s employees can work faster and smarter from devices and desktops

The Magic Quadrant looked at 14 organisations that provide managed mobility services (MMS), and evaluates them based on their ‘ability to execute’ and ‘completeness of vision’ in their strategy.
