The Women in Business network offers women at Vodafone a supportive and trusting environment to meet, learn and share their passion for technology and business. The aim of the network is to create a vibrant and inclusive community where women in business thrive, equipped with the knowledge, skills and inspiration to excel. Their 1600 members take part in educational events, networking opportunities and impactful programs to cultivate a culture of continuous learning, fostering expertise and innovation.
Over the past year, the network has partnered with groups with similar aims across multiple companies and hosted events with an attendance of over 600 people. The Women in Business network also contributed to closing the gender pay gap and improving female employee retention at Vodafone through mentoring schemes and career development opportunities, resulting in a 43% increase in female representation in internal applications.
