Hamilton makes it back-to-back F1 victories
Vodafone McLaren Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton extended his lead in the Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship by winning the USA Grand Prix at Indianapolis by just 1.5 seconds over his team mate Fernando Alonso.
Hamilton now leads the Drivers’ Championship by 10 points, while Vodafone McLaren Mercedes continues to dominate the Constructors’ Championship.
In the post race press conference, Hamilton couldn’t say enough about the efforts of the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team. It is just a ‘perfect team’, said an emotional Hamilton.
