Fernando Alonso takes third place
Vodafone McLaren Mercedes driver Fernando Alonso took third place in the Turkish Grand Prix, 26.1 seconds behind race winner Filipe Massa.
Lewis Hamilton was unfortunate to finish down in fifth place after his right-front tyre punctured with 15 laps to go.
The result brings Alonso within five points of Hamilton in the F1 Drivers’ Championship, with Vodafone McLaren Mercedes still ahead in the Constructors’ Championship.
