Vodafone McLaren Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton won the Japanese Grand Prix in sensational style, taking a firm grip on the F1 Drivers' Championship.
Hamilton's team mate Fernando Alonso retired after contact with another competitor and crashing into the outside wall during the the rain-affected race.
Lewis Hamilton's dream of winning the F1 Drivers' Championship is now tantalisingly close, with a 12 point lead and two races to go in China and Brazil.
