Fernando Alonso third, Lewis Hamilton seventh
Vodafone McLaren Mercedes driver Fernando Alonso finished in third place in the season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos.
His team mate Lewis Hamilton suffered a gearbox problem early in the race and finished down in seventh place.
The dramatic result saw Kimi Raikkonen overtake both Vodafone McLaren Mercedes drivers to take the 2007 F1 Drivers’ Championship by just a single point.
