Responsible Network Deployment Policy
This policy applies to
All Employees in Vodafone subsidiaries and Joint Ventures with an interest of 50% or more.
Policy Objectives
- To ensure that Vodafone meets its enduring goal of being a responsible business by addressing legitimate stakeholder concerns relating to network deployment in a manner which meets a set of consistent standards across the Group and supports the delivery of leading edge practices.
The policy
It is the policy of the Board of Vodafone Group Plc that Vodafone Group Services and Vodafone operating companies must be able to demonstrate compliance with a set of standards which cover:
- Legal compliance;
- Environmental impact;
- Electro Magnetic Frequency (“EMF”) Emissions;
- Site planning and selection;
- Communication and consultation;
- Landlord relationships.
Operating companies are required to report performance under each of these headings. It is the responsibility of each Local Company Chief Executive to ensure implementation, compliance, measurement and reporting in relation to the Policy.
