Meeting Market Behaviour and Competition Law Requirements Policy

This policy, and the laws upon which it is based, apply to each Vodafone Group company and to every director, officer and employee throughout the Vodafone Group.

Policy Objectives

  • To ensure compliance by Vodafone Group Plc and its subsidiaries with applicable competition law and to deal effectively with any competition law claims or investigations by competition authorities or third parties in any jurisdiction in which the Vodafone Group operates.

Policy Instruments
It is the policy of the Board of Vodafone Group Plc that Group companies, and each director, officer and employee, will comply in all respects with the laws relating to competition law matters in each of the jurisdictions in which the Group trades or operates. Each Group company will establish and enforce effective compliance procedures; any breaches of those procedures will be treated as serious disciplinary offences.

The responsibility for ensuring that each Group company complies with competition law rests with the Local Company Chief Executive Officer. There may be circumstances where you will be required to obtain legal advice in connection with competition related matters, and circumstances where additional reporting requirements may exist. These requirements are covered in the Legal Advice Policy.
