Duty to Report Policy

This policy applies to
All Employees in Vodafone subsidiaries and Joint Ventures with an interest of 50% or more including all Vodafone Executive and Non-Executive Directors up to and including the Chairman.

All Vodafone Suppliers.

Policy objectives

  • To ensure that all employees, contracted staff & suppliers understand their obligation to report any incidents or suspected incidents and to provide a clearly defined framework process to make such disclosures.
  • To protect employees, contracted staff and suppliers who make a genuine disclosure in good faith from any subsequent victimisation, discrimination or disadvantage.
  • To ensure that Vodafone will conduct a prompt investigation as appropriate and take action as deemed necessary.

The policy
It is the policy of the Board of Vodafone Group Plc to ensure all Vodafone employees including contracted staff and suppliers act with honesty, integrity & fairness. It is the obligation of all employees, including contracted staff, and suppliers to disclose any activity or suspected activity in accordance with the disclosure procedures set out in this policy & associated guidance procedures.

All Vodafone Group companies should put in place effective disclosure procedures and associated guidance procedures. All Vodafone Group companies must comply with all local legislation regarding the implementation of reporting procedures. All Vodafone Group company HR Directors are responsible for the implementation of this policy & associated guidance procedures. All Vodafone Group company Supply Chain Directors are responsible for implementation with suppliers.
