Working Nation

Working Nation is a major ongoing study that chronicles the attitudes and trends that shape the United Kingdom at work. Researched independently, the study provides a series of compelling reports that offer an insight into the views of opinion leaders, employers and employees about changing roles, responsibilities and perceptions in the workplace.

Theme 5 - Leading Lights: The DNA of Business Success

Which leadership characteristics make for a successful business?  Vodafone's fifth Working Nation report provides a 360-degree view of the UK workplace and presents a striking portrait of the businesses that are best equipped to succeed in today's competitive market.  They also offer a template for success that businesses can use as a "health check" to help them deliver strong performance.

Theme 3 - Ideas at Work: The untapped resource

The third and latest report in Vodafone UK's Working Nation series examines attitudes to innovation - the generation and development of ideas - within the UK workforce. Ideas at Work: The untapped resource reveals a fundamental disconnect between the importance of innovation in the workplace, and the actual opportunities and incentives that exist to develop and exploit new ideas. The report raises a critical question – how can companies harness ideas effectively?

Theme 2 - Loyalty at Work
