Madrid 1st July 2008.- Vodafone Spain exclusively presents the new Nokia 2600 Classic Pack with the contents of High School Musical for its youngest customers. This includes the best contents from the original Disney Channel film High School Musical, the official video game, images, the real tone of the film and stickers for personalising the casing.
The pack also includes a guide for parents, backed by the Protégeles (Protect Them) association, with recommendations for use so that the youngest ones use their mobile telephone responsibly. There is information too for parents on parental control services offered by Vodafone, such as control of outgoing calls, transfer of balance or the reverse charge service so that children can call even if they have no balance.
The Nokia 2600 classic telephone includes photo and video camera, Bluetooth technology, FM radio and MP3 tones, as well as the JAVA game from the film. It has a super-slim design and includes a second interchangeable casing and earphones.
The new pack is now available in Vodafone stores and other authorised distributors in the card pack category, at a price of €49, with up to €100 of balance provided.
With the purchase of each pack, Vodafone collaborates with the Theodora Foundation donating 1 euro. This new telephone forms part of Vodafone Kids, the Vodafone mobiles range designed for children with things they like, such as a photo camera, MP3 or games from their favourite films, as well as the Vodafone services necessary for parental control.
A smile for children
The Theodora Foundation was set up in Switzerland in 1993 with the aim of alleviating the suffering of hospitalised children through laughter, organising for them weekly visits from professional artists, the “Smiling Doctors”, who devote their time and attention to hospitalised children. In January 2000 the Theodora Foundation was set up in Spain and on the 6 July that same year was recognised as a charitable social care foundation by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The Theodora Foundation is presently working in 20 Spanish hospitals in Alicante, Barcelona, Elche, Ferrol, Granada, La Coruña, Las Palmas, Madrid, Malaga, Tenerife, Toledo, Santiago de Compostela, Seville and Vigo, visiting over 50,000 hospitalised children and their families each year.
