- Vodafone Romania Foundation sustains the building of London House at Radauti

Vodafone Romania Foundation anounces that it sustains the project Euro2007Habitat Build, by sponsoring the biulding of London House. The project is organized by Habitat for Humanity Association and include the building of 27 houses for disadvataged families in Radauti, Suceava county.
"It gives us a great pleasure to be partners in the biggest project based on volunteering developed in Europa. Vodafone Romania Foundation has chosen to support the building of London House in Radauti financially as well as through direct contribution, with a great number of volunteers, Vodafone Romania employees. This is the second project of this kind, after the Oarja project, where over 60 Vodafone volunteers participated together with our Habitat partners at apartments restauration", declared Liliana Solomon, CEO Vodafone Romania.
Over 80 volunteers will participate in the construction of the London House. They will be organized in three teams, and will work in the period September 3-7, 2007 at raising, plastering, stoneware and slate assembling and other construction finishing works. On the site, the volunteers will be assisted by employees of the Association Habitat for Humanity experienced builders, who will permanently guide them.
The project deployment can be followed directly on the sites www.vodafone.ro/Vodafone-Foundation and www.habitat.ro, thanks to a web-camera that will be installed on the site.
Within the site a press center will be arranged, from where journalists will be able to broadcast live, information about the progress of the works. Vodafone Romania will make available a wireless area, which allows free internet access and data transmission.
Vodafone Romania will also offer the families that will move in the new 27 houses at the end of the next week, a free Vodafone Acasa 75+ subscription and a Sagem MyH10 phone. The subscription includes 75 free minutes for the fixed national destinations and 75 free minutes in the fixed Vodafone network, plus the promotional offer starting the activation date.
