• 1.570 million net additions for a total of 7.954 million
• 29.3% service revenue year on year growth for a total of US $1.304 billion at March 31, 2007
• US $1.369 billion in total revenue

Vodafone Romania announces key performance indicators for the financial year 2006 /2007, ended March 31, 2007, as reported today by Vodafone Group Plc.

Vodafone Romania registered 1.570 million net additions in the fiscal year 2006/2007, for a total of 7.954 million customers. In the quarter ended March 31, 2007, Vodafone Romania added 237 thousand net customers. As compared to the 2005/ 2006 financial year, Vodafone Romania increased its customer base by 24.6%.

Service revenue increased by 29.3% year on year for a total of US$ 1.304 billion (EUR 1,012 billion) , in the financial year 2006/2007, while the total revenue reached US $1,369 billion (Euro 1,062 billion ), representing an increase of 28 % as compared to 2005/2006 financial year.

EBITDA* reached US$ 643.7 million as compared to US$ 510.5 million in 2005/2006, which represents a 26.0% year on year growth. EBITDA margin reached 47.0% this financial year.

Average revenue per user (ARPU) was US$15.1, at the end of March, 2007, as compared to US$ 14.9, at the end of March, 2006.

Postpaid subscribers accounted for 33.8% and prepaid for 66.2% of Vodafone Romania's total subscriber base.
