Vodafone Romania is pleased to announce the opening of four new stores in four important cities in the country, in Râmnicu Sărat, Fetesti, Oltenita and Sighisoara.

Starting June 1st, 2007, Vodafone launched its first Vodafone-only branded ultra-low cost handsets, manufactured for Vodafone by ZTE Corporation, Vodafone 125 and Vodafone 225, that will accompany the Cartela Vodafone offers. The Vodafone 225 is a dual band GSM 900/1800 colour screen handset, with a menu that includes polyphonic ring tones, games, calculator. Vodafone 125 offers almost the same options except for the screen, which is black and white. Both handsets have an attractive and modern design.
Prepaid customers who activate a Vodafone Card by July 15, 2007 and send a SMS with normal tariff at 4545, get an initial credit of USD 5 and an additional credit of USD 5. In addition, Vodafone offers USD 10 monthly, for 5 months, for 5,000 customers or 100 SMS and MMS monthly in Vodafone network, for 5 months, for everyone else.
Until July 15, 2007, the clients who subscribe for a 2 years period, can benefit of a special offer, that includes 240 free minutes, 240 free SMS and 240 free MMS in the Vodafone network, for 6 months*. The clients also receive a 50% subscription lower tariff, in the first 3 months of every subscription year, as well as 50% lower tariffs for an International option by choice, in the first 3 months of every year.
The promotional offers come together with a wide range of new handsets, responding to all lifestyles and communications needs. Among these there are handsets such as Nokia 1600, Sony Ericsson J100i, Nokia 1110i, Samsung X160, Alcatel E100 and Motorola F3, now starting from US $ 0.
In addition, Vodaofne Romania offer its customers the possibility to win two of the 500 new tickets to the Rolling Stones concert, or meet the band members face to face. In order to benefit of this offer, Vodafone subscribers have to send an SMS with normal tariff to 4545, until July 15, 2007.
