Vodafone Romania announces down to 47% lower tariffs for Vodafone fixed voice calls to international mobile and fixed networks, for business customers. The new tariffs for international calls are available to companies using Vodafone fixed voice services, within the integrated communications solutions, as well as for Vodafone Office Zone customers. These tariffs are available starting the first invoice issued after March 16, 2008.

"We are pleased to offer our business customers very competitive tariffs for international calls, towards all fixed and mobile networks, thus supporting their communications needs for keeping a permanent contact with the business partners and benefiting from lower total communications costs", said Liliana Solomon, Chief Executive Officer, Vodafone Romania.

Business customers can now make calls to any European fixed networks for EUR 0.08 / min, down to 47% than the previous EUR 0.15 / min tariff.

Calls to mobile and fixed destinations in USA, Canada, Alaska, Israel or Hawaii are now charged with EUR 0.095 /min, compared to the previous EUR 0.15 / min, which represents a reduction by 37%.

International calls to mobile operators in Europe are now 18% lower, to EUR 0.18 / min, than the previous EUR 0.22 / min.

Companies using Vodafone fixed voice services benefit from lower tariffs for international calls to fixed and mobile networks in South America (in countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, etc.), Asia (China, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, etc.), Africa (South Africa, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, etc.) and Australia. The new tariff is EUR 0.28 / min, bringing a cost reduction by 7% as compared to the tariff available so far.

Vodafone Romania offers special tariffs for the international calls to its consumers as well. With Vodafone Europa, International Intensiv and International Extensiv, Vodafone customers can call international destinations at advantageous tariffs, according to their specific communications needs. Thus, with Vodafone Europa, customers can call Vodafone, Vodafone partner networks and European fixed networks at the standard tariff of EUR 0.17 / min (for postpaid customers) and EUR 0.24 / min (for prepaid). With International Extensiv, Vodafone customers benefit from the flat tariff of EUR 0.25 / min for international calls, to any destination, to which adds a small connection fee of EUR 0.35 / call, for destinations in Europe, USA, Canada, Israel and Hawaii. For destinations in the rest of the world, the connection fee is EUR 0.65 / call. International Extensiv offers the most advantageous tariff for calling far destinations, in Asia, Australia, New Zeeland, etc.
