Vodafone Romania launches Windows Mobile E-Mail solution for corporate customers

Bucharest, June 25, 2007 – Vodafone Romania announces the launch of a new mobile e-mail solution, Windows Mobile E-mail. Accommodating handsets with Windows operating system, the new solution provides users with fast mobile access to the company's e-mail account, Internet, calendar, contact list, agenda, mobile phone, SMS, MMS and other data applications, through a single integrated device.

With a user-friendly interface, similar to Outlook, Vodafone's Windows Mobile E-mail solution provides a familiar desktop environment for customers on the move, over their mobile phone. Addressing companies mainly, Windows Mobile E-mail solution uses a Microsoft Exchange server, 2003 editions or higher. Vodafone’s new mobile E-mail solution is easy to accommodate the companies’ IT infrastructure.

Windows Mobile E-mail solution is available to Vodafone Romania customers on two mobile phones: Samsung BlackJack i600 and Vodafone 1210. Samsung BlackJack i600 is available at USD 299 for 2 years subscription and USD 339 for one year subscription. Vodafone 1210 is available at USD 149 for two years subscription and USD 189 for one year subscription. These prices do not include VAT.
Samsung BlackJack i600 is a dual-band UMTS / HSDPA handset, equipped with 1.3 megapixels camera, QWERTY keyboard and supports e-mail attachments in PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat.

Combining a modern design and small dimensions, Vodafone 1210 is a tri-band GSM (900 / 1800 / 1900) handset, with colour screen, 128 MB memory, expandable via microSD card.

Vodafone Romania offers three data packages for activating Windows Mobile E-mail solution, addressing customers’ specific traffic needs: Vodafone MPE, with 20 MB traffic included, at USD 18 / month; Vodafone MPE National, with 50 MB traffic included, at USD 24 / month andVodafone MPE Roaming, with 50 MB national traffic included and 3 MB roaming traffic, at USD 49 / month. Additional traffic will be charged with USD 0.30 / MB.

Vodafone Romania customers who activate Windows Mobile E-mail solution by September 25, 2007, will benefit from one month free subscription for any of the data packages they choose.

Vodafone Romania offers customers support services for activating Windows Mobile E-mail solution and for configuring the handsets.

The new Windows Mobile E-mail solution is available starting today, through Vodafone Romania direct sales representatives.
