Bucharest,  July 9, 2007 – Vodafone Romania announces the expansion of its retail network up to 81 own stores all over the country. Vodafone store in Mangalia opens today in Constantei Street, Bl. 9, groundfloor. Other recent openings were in Tecuci, Oltenita, Fetesti, Sighisoara and Ramnicu Sarat. During the last 12 months, Vodafone Romania doubled the number of its own stores all over the country.

"We want to make Vodafone products and services, as well as the unique experience of visiting a Vodafone store, available for as many customers as possible, from all the cities in the country. Therefore, we will continue to expand our retail network intensively, in the next few months", said Liliana Solomon, President & Chief Executive Officer, Vodafone Romania.

The new Vodafone Romania stores offer an extensive range of Vodafone services, for both consumer and business customers who can also benefit from the most advantageous promotional offers and special packages addressing all the communications needs.

Customers who subscribe to Vodafone Acasa by September 2, 2007 will benefit from up to 150 free minutes for Vodafone mobile destinations, for a period from 6 to 12 months depending on the contract (1 or 2 years).

Starting June 1st, 2007, Vodafone launched its first Vodafone-only branded ultra-low cost handsets, Vodafone 125 and Vodafone 225, that will accompany the Vodafone Card offers. Prepaid customers who activate a Vodafone Card by July 15, 2007 and send an SMS with normal tariff at 4545, will get an initial credit of US$5 and an additional credit of US$5. In addition, Vodafone offers US$10 monthly, for 5 months, for 5,000 customers or 100 SMS and MMS monthly to be used in Vodafone network, for 5 months, for all the other customers who activate the Vodafone Card during the promotion.

Until July 15, 2007, customers who subscribe for a 2 years period, can benefit from a special offer, that includes 240 free minutes, 240 free SMS and 240 free MMS in the Vodafone network, for 6 months*. Customers will also receive a 50% discount for the price plan and for an international option by choice, in the first 3 months of every subscription year, for life.

Vodafone subscribers can benefit from the Vodafone Navigator promotion, by July 15, 2007. Within the special offer, they can test the service for free, one month, benefiting from free access to the Romanian map as well.

Moreover, by September 30, 2007, Vodafone Romania customers benefit from the 3G broadband services promotional offer: double data transfer speeds, of up to 2.8 Mbps for all 3G broadband price plans and advantageous prices for the 3G broadband data cards, starting from US$0, according to the price plan and the contract period.

The 3G and 3G broadband services offers are available only in the Vodafone stores in the cities covered by the 3G and 3G broadband network: Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Brasov, Iasi, Constanta, Craiova, Ploiesti, Sibiu, Oradea, Targu Mures, Arad, Pitesti, Galati, Braila, Satu Mare, Baia Mare, Bistrita, Bacau, Buzau, Alba Iulia, Turda and Deva.
