Between May 9 -13, 2007, Vodafone Romania will participate to CERF with an innovative stand, where visitors will be able to test the latest Vodafone 3G broadband products and services, as well as Vodafone Navigator solution, based on GPS.
"Vodafone brings presentations and demonstrations of new services and many surprises for CERF visitors. At the Vodafone stand, they may experience 3D movies and will have the opportunity to participate to contests with prizes consisting in tickets to the most exciting events associated to the Vodafone brand, from Formula 1 races, to the Rolling Stones concert in Bucharest. Moreover, the public will have the chance to admire the official replica of the new Vodafone McLaren Mercedes car from the World Formula 1 Championship", said Liliana Solomon, Chief Executive Officer, Vodafone Romania.
Every day, at the Vodafone stand will be organized contests with significant prizes, for Vodafone customers. In order to win the 10 tickets at the Formula 1 Grand Prix from Hungaroring, on August 5, 2007, the Vodafone customers only have to play "McLaren Racing" game, in Vodafone Live!, at the Vodafone stand. The first 5 qualified, considering the score, will win 5 tickets for two persons.
In the same time, Vodafone customers have the chance to win 10 tickets to the Rolling Stones concert, on July 17, 2007, within the MMS contest launched during the fair. In order to participate at the contest, Vodafone customers are invited to send, at the 667 number, multimedia messages representing them at the Vodafone stand (for USD 0,23, VAT included). The photos will be posted on Vodafone Live! and, considering the number of votes received in the portal, there will be elected the 5 winners of two tickets each.
Every day of CERF exhibition, between 1 and 4 p.m., all Vodafone customers benefit from 50% discount for the games, tones and images downloaded from the event's dedicated category on Vodafone Live!.
The visitors of the Vodafone stand will have the chance to test the Vodafone Navigator service, on a mini-test drive in Bucharest, in a Mercedes Smart car. Vodafone navigator is the first GPS navigation solution, available for mobile phones users from Romania,
Vodafone customers will also have the possibility to permanently watch live images from CERF, in a special created section on Vodafone Live! mobile portal.
