- "Vodafone pentru Tine" rewards contract customers for both seniority and usage value
- By using the loyalty points, an existing customer can pay less for buying a mobile phone, down to zero costs, than a new customer who benefits from a promotional offer
- The loyalty program enables customers to buy new handsets in all Vodafone stores, partner stores or even through the Customer Service
Vodafone Romania launches today the new loyalty program for contract customers, called "Vodafone pentru Tine". The new loyalty program brings Vodafone subscribers unique benefits that reward both customer's seniority and usage value.
"We wanted to reward our customers' loyalty by offering them enhanced benefits, allocated according to their seniority in Vodafone network, as well as the usage level of our services. For instance, a Vodafone customer with an average monthly value of EUR 20 and 6 years seniority will qualify for the same loyalty group as a customer having 6 months in our network and a monthly value of EUR 60. They will both receive the same monthly loyalty bonus, amounting to 60% of the points accumulated for the invoice value. Thus, each customer will be able to accumulate more loyalty points, which can be spent on tangible benefits, such as mobile phones and accessories at promotional prices or even for free, on-net free minutes, extraoptions or invoice discounts", said Liliana Solomon, Chief Executive Officer, Vodafone Romania.
"Vodafone pentru Tine" program includes 4 consumer segments, classified according to customer's seniority in Vodafone network and 6 months' average invoice value: Red, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Starting with January 23, 2008, Vodafone Romania customers will be individually informed on the segment they belong to. Moreover, a special free number, *299, will be available for Vodafone customers, who will be able to call for further details on the new loyalty program.
With the new "Vodafone pentru Tine" program, Vodafone postpaid customers benefit from additional loyalty points, according to the group they qualify for: 10% bonus for Red customers, 30% bonus for Silver customers, 60% bonus for Gold customers and 100% bonus for Platinum customers. These additional points represent a loyalty bonus that adds to the basic points.
Basic loyalty points are calculated based on the preceding invoice, according to the formula "3 x invoice value" (in EUR, VAT not included). For instance, for a EUR 20 invoice, the Vodafone customer receives 60 loyalty points. If the respective postpaid customer qualifies for the Gold group, he/she will receive a 60% additional bonus, that is 36 additional loyalty points, reaching a total of 96 points monthly. Therefore, in 12 months, the postpaid customer will accumulate 1152 loyalty points, EUR 11.52 in value.
At the same time, Vodafone Romania continues to allocate the monthly free minutes to reward customers' seniority: 30 minutes for customers in network for over 3 years, 20 minutes for Vodafone customers in network for over 2 years and 10 minutes for those in Vodafone network for more than 1 year. Also, Vodafone customers will keep their loyalty points accumulated so far and will be able to make use of them whenever they want.
Vodafone postpaid customers will be able to spend their loyalty points on buying mobile phones available in our portfolio, at special prices offered through the promotional campaigns, for 2 year contracts. Thus, by using the loyalty points, an existing customer can pay less for a new handset (down to zero price) than a new customer.
The handsets available through the "Vodafone pentru Tine" program can be purchased in any Vodafone store, Vodafone partner store, or even through the Customer Service, the mobile phone being delivered by freight forwarder service.
For business customers, "Vodafone pentru Tine" brings a similar segmentation in 4 groups - Business Red, Business Silver, Business Gold and Business Platinum - exclusively according to the customer's value. Business customers benefit, in addition to basic loyalty points, from a monthly bonus according to the customer group - 20% for Business Silver customers, 30% for Business Gold customers and 40% for Business Platinum customers - as well as from an annual bonus, according to the customer segmentation and seniority in the network.*
Vodafone business customers benefit from Business Customers Service, available for free at *221. Moreover, for any request, each Business Gold and Business Platinum customer benefit from customized support from a special assigned team.
