Best plans 12% cheaper than OECD average prices
Vodafone is delighted to announce the company has broken into the top half of the OECD mobile costs rankings for all customers.
Vodafone New Zealand Chief Executive Russell Stanners says the company promised to break into the top half of the OECD ranking by 2010 and has done so in the last quarter of 2007.
These rankings list the most affordable mobile services throughout the OECD countries. Reaching the top half shows Vodafone New Zealands efforts to provide excellent value for money are being recognised internationally.
Our customers told us they wanted a more affordable mobile service and weve listened and delivered on that promise. Vodafone New Zealand now provides better value for money than ever before and thats great news for our customers.
In the past year Vodafone has introduced a raft of innovative products offering excellent value to customers. These include multiple Best Mate; international calling charged at $2 for 60 minutes; TXT2000; Vodafone Traveller for overseas roaming; the TXTer, Talker and Mega plans; 12 months free broadband and many others.
In an era when the cost of living is rising, when mortgage rates and petrol prices are increasing almost every quarter, its great to be able to buck the trend and deliver a service that people value, says Stanners.
