Maastricht, 31 August 2007 – The latest addition in the extensive portfolio of BlackBerry smartphones, the BlackBerry Curve, is exclusively available at Vodafone Netherlands until 1 November.
This model, part of the successful BlackBerry 8300 series, features amongst other things a full QWERTY keyboard, GPS, a 2 MP camera, web browser, media player, audio and video playback, 64MB Flash memory plus microSD expandable (up to 4 GB) memory slot and a speakerphone.
BlackBerry smartphones are immensely popular amongst enterprise customers in the Netherlands and increasingly also amongst consumers for their integrated address book, calender, multimedia and email and text messaging functionalities.
Vodafone's current BlackBerry portfolio contains the BlackBerry 8707v (the only UMTS BlackBerry), the 8100 Pearl Silver, the 8310 Curve (with GPS) and the 8820 (with WiFi).
The BlackBerry Curve 8310 is available in the colour titanium, for EUR 0 in combination with a 2 year subscription (Ondernemers Bundel EUR 35). Without subscription the device is available for EUR 359, in all regular sales channels. For more information please visit vodafone.nl/blackberry.
