Vodafone Malta Limited has announced that as from 1st June, calling from Vodafone Passport Networks is now even cheaper. Customers registering to Vodafone Passport can call home or the visited country at the rate of €0.23 per minute. Calls to other countries will be charged at the applicable international calling rate. Whilst roaming on EU Passport Networks (e.g. Vodafone Italy), a connection fee of €1 is applicable per call, whereas the connection fee of €1.16 is applicable for non EU roaming Passport Networks (e.g. Vodafone Australia).

Whilst roaming on EU Vodafone Passport Networks, customers are charged € 0.70 per 10 minutes of calls received (e.g. Vodafone Italy). The rate for calls received whilst roaming on non EU Passport Networks is €1.16 per 10 minutes of calls.

Vodafone Passport is applicable on selected networks in Belgium, France, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, UK, Libya, Switzerland, Japan, Tunisia, Albania Australia and New Zealand.

Customers need to manually select the Vodafone or Partner Network when roaming to benefit from Vodafone Passport roaming rates.
