Vodafone station represents new way to comminicate

Vodafone Station and the new Vodafone Casa Internet and Telephone offerings will bring Vodafone into Italians’ homes, offering ease of use and changing the way people make voice calls and surf the web. From 9 June customers can request Vodafone Station and subscribe to one of the new Vodafone Casa Internet and Telephone offerings to telephone, surf the web and exchange e-mails using their home phone and PC immediately after purchase, without having to wait for the ADSL service to be activated.

The Vodafone Casa Internet and Telephone offering has two different price plans:

Flat offering – the ideal solution for unlimited ADSL Internet access and for voice calls to landline numbers from home (up to 3,000 minutes every 30 days) and Vodafone mobile phones for an entire year (up to 1,000 minutes every 30 days) at the cost of 0 euro cents. The fixed top up charge for all calls is 16 euro cents. Customers who sign up for Vodafone Casa Internet and Telephone Flat can immediately take advantage of the Internet on Holiday promotional offer and surf the web for free while on holiday by using Vodafone mobile broadband until 30 September, for up to 10 hours a day.

The offering is free until the ADSL line is activated, after which a monthly fee of €29 will be charged.

Free offering – the solution that provides internet by using Vodafone mobile broadband from home and voice calls to landline numbers (up to 3,000 minutes every 30 days) and Vodafone mobile phones for an entire year (up to 1,000 minutes every 30 days) at the cost of 0 euro cents. The fixed top up charge for all calls is 16 euro cents. Vodafone Casa Internet and Telephone Free allows customers to surf the web using mobile broadband at a cost of €3 a day, with unlimited traffic.

The offering is free for the first month after activation, after which a monthly fee of €9 will be charged. Customers who sign up for the Vodafone Casa Internet and Telephone offerings and wish to access the Internet when away from home can benefit from all the advantages of a daily tariff offer that allow unlimited Internet access at the price of €5.

All the Vodafone Casa Internet and Telephone offerings include supply of the Vodafone Station (complete with SIM card and integrated Vodafone Internet key) and access to Vodafone Mail, the exclusive 6 gigabyte email account equipped with antispam and antivirus functions.

Under both offerings calls are charged on the basis of 30 second periods or part thereof. When the pre-established time limit is exceeded, prices are as follows: 16 euro cents per minute for calls to domestic landline numbers, 6 euro cents per minute to Vodafone mobile numbers. The fixed top up charge is 16 euro cents for all calls. For calls to other operators the charge is 16 euro cents per minute.

Activation of the Vodafone Casa Internet and Telephone Flat and Free offerings costs €49.

Both offerings require number portability from Telecom Italia and are subject to signature of a contract with a duration of 24 months.
