A simple and competitive daily tariff for surfing the Web when overseas

Milan, 29 June 2007 - Vodafone launches Daily Travel Tariff, the new daily tariff for customers who wish to surf the internet when overseas.

Daily Travel Tariff offers Vodafone customers access to the internet when overseas through Vodafone Group or partner networks, making available up to 50 MB of data traffic, from the moment they link up to midnight of the same calendar day (Italian time), for a fixed fee of €15 (VAT included). Volumes of traffic exceeding 50 MB generated within the  period to which the daily tariff applies will be priced at the promotional rate of €3.6 per MB (VAT included), based on prepaid units of 100KB.

Daily Travel Tariff enables Vodafone customers traveling abroad to surf the internet, check emails and access their company intranet at a competitive price, with up to 50MB of data traffic available. The new tariff offers the convenience of straightforward pricing combined with a familiar and reliable service.

Daily Travel Tariff will be activated automatically, at no additional cost, on all new SIM cards, both business and consumer, starting from 1 July 2007.

The launch of Daily Travel Tariff follows the introduction of Vodafone Passport, the innovative voice tariff launched in June 2005 that has significantly lowered the cost of roaming and attracted over 12 million customers in various countries.

Consumers with a subscription plan can activate Daily Travel Tariff starting from 1 July 2007, while the offer is already available to business customers.
