Three exclusive Samsung i620v handsets for auction on eBay - a first for Italian market
Proceeds will go entirely to the "Rino Gattuso Forza Ragazzi Foundation"
Milan, 13 July 2007 - Vodafone Italia is renewing its commitment to social issues by working with the "Rino Gattuso Forza Ragazzi Foundation" to assist and support young people in need in Calabria. For the occasion, Vodafone is auctioning three of the very latest Samsung i620v mobile phones on eBay - a first for the Italian market.
The Samsung i620v, available only in Vodafone shops over the next few weeks, is the revolutionary mobile phone using Super UMTS broadband technology, which is 5 times faster than a normal UMTS mobile. It comes complete with keypad and a 2.2" display, ensuring easy and immediate internet navigation, just like a PC.
To support the Rino Gattuso Forza Ragazzi Foundation and buy one of the exclusive mobiles up for auction, just access the eBay site and enter the charity auction section to make your bid. Vodafone customers can take part in the auction directly by clicking on the eBay icon on the homepage of the Vodafone live! portal.
The auction opens today and ends on Friday 20 July 2007.
Winners of the auction will also receive a prepaid Vodafone SIM card (with €10 worth of traffic) and a "special", easy-to-memorise number (for example 347-XXYYZZZ).
All proceeds from the auction will go to the Foundation set up by the popular football player to support aid, health and charity related initiatives for children and young people in need.
