Just one handset for making and receiving calls in the office and on the move
Starting from this month Italians can hand over their office phone to Vodafone. InOffice is Vodafone's offering for professionals and small businesses, enabling them to transfer their fixed-line number to their mobile, using only one operator and one handset to make and receive calls both in the office and on the move.
The launch of Vodafone InOffice is the first step in a process that will introduce competition, freedom of choice and service quality into the market.
Vodafone InOffice is the first of a wide range of business services that Vodafone is getting ready to offer, based on a vast portfolio of technologies based on radio and DSL.
Vodafone InOffice allows users to transfer their fixed-line number to their mobile, whatever the model or technology used. Receiving calls to their fixed-line number is free of charge when they are in the office and, in the same way, nothing will change for anyone calling a fixed-line number that has switched to Vodafone - the charge will be the same as for ordinary fixed-line calls. When out of the office, customers can still be reached on their landline number at the cost of a normal call transfer or choose to use the answering service on the fixed-line number.
Thanks to Vodafone InOffice people can make calls from their office at very cheap rates. Two price options are being offered: Vodafone InOffice Free, to make calls from the office to all fixed-line numbers free of charge for a monthly fee of 21.80 euros, and Vodafone InOffice Zero, to telephone all fixed-line numbers from the office at 10 euro cents a call for a monthly fee of 9.90 euros.
Vodafone InOffice guarantees the continuity of all traditional communication services generally used by businesses on landline numbers, such as call waiting, call transfer, answering services and conference calling, whilst also making them available on mobile phones.
