Over 300,000 Savvy Mobile Users Sign Up to Vodafone’s Prepay Offers Saving up to 55%

In just three weeks 315,000 savings-savvy customers have signed up to Vodafone's new FREE texts or FREE Weekends offer. The two new Vodafone prepay tariffs, Vodafone Lifestyle and Vodafone Advantage and Free Texts or Free Weekends offer savings of up to 55% over other operators. Those in the know are signing up in the thousands to take advantage of these great savings. Uptake has been remarkable due to the clear benefits to customers. In line with Ireland’s love of texting, early indicators show that Free Texts is the most popular option.

Prepay customers can now text all week long or call & text at weekends to over 2.1 million people on the Vodafone network for free for life. With extended weekends from 6pm Friday right through to Monday morning, the weekend just got a whole lot better.

In recognition of this success, Vodafone is offering Regina Spektor's new track Hotel Song at a special promotional download price of only 79c, the cheapest mobile download rate in the Irish market. This charming and catchy track features on Vodafone’s new TV advertisement which was shot by Irish-born Hollywood director John Moore.
