This summer Vodafone customers can make calls abroad for the same price as at home
Vodafone Ireland today announced the new Vodafone Passport summer roaming offer, giving customers the best-ever roaming rates. Whether it’s a continental break or long haul destination, all Vodafone customers can make calls home or within the country they are visiting for the same price they pay at home throughout July and August. This brand new offer applies to all countries across the EU and others including Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
With no connection fee and calls charged at the same rate as at home, Vodafone Ireland customers can now make huge savings in up to 35 destinations this summer. Vodafone’s worldwide presence already benefits the 760,000 customers signed up to Vodafone Passport who enjoy the best roaming rates in the Irish market. Those that need to sign up can simply freetext SUBROAM to 50020. The offer runs from 1st July to 31st August 08.
Speaking about the announcement today, Carolan Lennon, Consumer Director, Vodafone Ireland said, "Almost 85% of the minutes used abroad are within EU countries so this promotion offers real value that is relevant to customer’s needs. When our customers go away this summer they can pick up their mobile, call friends and family and just pay the usual call rates that they pay at home to get the best roaming rates in the market."
