Vodafone introduces local calls at half rate

Prepaid customers can now make local calls across UP West and Uttarakhand at half the cost

  • Customers in UP West can make local calls across UP & Uttarakhand at half of the existing rate
  • Local calling rate now at 50 paisa/minute from Vodafone to Vodafone and Re 1/minute from Vodafone to others
  • Bonus Card has validity of 30 days
  • Bonus Cards available at Rs. 49

UP West & Uttarakhand, October 16, 2007: Vodafone, one of India's leading telecom service providers, today introduced a bonus card that offers customers a 50% reduction on the existing local call rate. Customers can now avail local calling rates of 50 paisa/minute from Vodafone to Vodafone and Re 1/minute from Vodafone to others. This bonus card also allows customers to make STD calls at Rs 2.65/minute.

These tariff vouchers have a validity of 30 days and are available at a denomination of Rs 49 for prepaid customers. Staying connected for customers across this region now becomes much easier
