Vodafone received the ‘Business Ethics Excellence’ award at first assessment level for the implementation of the Business Ethics Model in its overall operation (Bronze BEE-GOOD WILL Award). The award was presented yesterday to Ms. Angeliki Papantoniou, Vodafone’s Corporate Responsibility Manger, at an event organized by the Hellenic Business Ethics Institute (European Business Ethics Network – EBEN GR).
Vodafone is the first mobile communication company in Greece to have its operation assessed on the basis of the Business Excellence Model and to receive the pertinent award. The Business Excellence Award finds Vodafone’s principles and philosophy in terms of Corporate Responsibility in full agreement, with an aim to uphold the transparent and perpetual development of each and every company. The model is founded on the full implementation of the sector’s established requirements for total quality and business excellence, through an approach that adheres to business ethics.
The Hellenic Business Ethics Institute – EBEN GR, representing the European Business Ethics Network, was established in Greece in 2005 and is a non-profit organization aiming at the promotion of the principles of Business Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Governance in the private and public sectors, the academic community and volunteer societies.
