Vodafone and Dell team up to present two pioneering notebook models for the first time in Greece incorporating third generation (3G) wireless Internet access technology through Vodafone Mobile broadband service.
DELL Inspiron 1525 3G, the best commercially available broadband notebook for 2008 according to GSM Association’s vote, and Dell XPSTM M1530 3G, the absolutely stylish notebook with unlimited multimedia options, are available exclusively through Vodafone stores.
The two notebooks meet the specifications for student participation in the ‘Go Digital’ programme which allows some 20,000 first-year undergraduates who obtained a distinction, as well as students with serious health problems, admitted to university or college in the academic years 2006 and 2007 to qualify for a grant of up to 1,000 Euro.
Vodafone offers an additional subsidy for those who choose to take out a new connection on VMC 5GB/month with a fixed monthly charge of 24.99 Euro for students and 29.5 Euro for private clients.
This new collaboration makes wireless Internet and email access at speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps even easier and users enjoy:
- Easy use: The service is activated through a single SIM card and Internet connectivity is available upon activation of the service with no delay
- Economy: The cost for the new notebooks incorporating Vodafone Mobile broadband starts at 150 Euro with Vodafone connection and the 'Go Digital' grant
- Security: No risk of losing the data card, as it is incorporated in the notebook
- Flexibility: High Internet connection speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps wherever you may be
Dell's notebooks, available through Vodafone stores, carry a 2-year guarantee with a next-day response at the client's premises.
