Further 20% drop in charges within Europe and even more participating countries
Focusing on the needs of its customers travelling abroad and following-up to the pioneering services it has launched in the past few years, Vodafone has renewed and expanded Vodafone Passport.
Now, Vodafone Passport is available to both post-pay and pre-pay customers, offers 20% reduced charges to the existing rates for those who are travelling to European countries and use the Vodafone or any associate networks to make their calls; in the meantime, the program expands into even more countries to better serve all Vodafone customers travelling even to far away destinations such as the USA, Chine, South Africa, Bahrain, etc.
Vodafone Passport is already a successful roaming program, exclusively offered by Vodafone in Greece. This innovative service enables Vodafone clients travelling abroad to make and receive calls from 41 associate networks in the world, freely, with the charges that apply to Greece and only an additional low charge per call*. Vodafone Passport can be activated very easily be simply calling 1333.
Vodafone Passport starts its campaign with a unique musical feast inspired by Bob Marley’s well-known song “Jammin’” which has been paraphrased to “Roaming" so as to familiarise the greater public with the roaming concept, through the simplicity and freedom that Vodafone Passport is offering. The campaign is a celebration of summertime and of how we can make the most of now when travelling abroad, not only for fun, but also for professional reasons, without thinking about our mobile phone bill.
Summer is here and Vodafone Passport is the passport for continuous and low-cost communication, wherever you are in the world.
*Note: The additional cost per call for associate networks in European countries is €0.80 and for all other associate networks in the world €2.50. Incoming calls have a time limit of 1 hour per call.
