Vodafone customers get a mobile Olympic experience for free
Düsseldorf, 24 July 2008. The Olympic Games are almost upon us. Leading athletes from around the world will be battling it out in Peking for gold, silver and bronze in 302 disciplines between 8 and 24 August. Vodafone is launching a Sport Summer Special just in time for the 20th Olympic Games. It provides all customers with comprehensive information about this year's sporting highlight on their mobile phones at no extra cost. The special offer includes live mobile TV, a live ticker, text and multimedia message information services and a special on the Vodafone live! portal, so that Vodafone customers can keep up to date on medals and world records.
That will be a big relief for all sports fans who aren't be able to watch the Peking Games at home on TV. Now, they can conveniently keep up to date with Vodafone's Olympic Special. The Olympic Special provides live action from the Games on MobileTV's Euro-sport channel, plus highlight programmes with daily summaries and the latest Olympic updates in the form of interviews and analyses.
