Vodafone presents Music Unlimited Cologne 2008

Düsseldorf, 24. June 2008. Vodafone today announces the Music Unlimited Cologne festival from 7-10 August 2008 which boasts an entertaining programme of top international acts. The ambitious artists performing at the festival cover all music genres from jazz to electro, techno to rock and pop to hip hop. Music Unlimited Cologne kicks off a series of Vodafone initiated activities to draw attention to its innovative and customer-oriented music services.

Top acts such as The Killers, Massive Attack and Gentleman will perform to an 8,000-strong public in the unique atmosphere of Cologne's Roncalliplatz. The first concert in the Stadtgarten park on Thursday evening (7 August) will be given by Matthew Herbert, a musical maverick and an exceptionally talented musician. Further concerts will be staged at the tradition-steeped Alte Wartesaal and Gloria venues where British musicians such as The Rifles, Dizzee Rascal and electronic acts such as Booka Shades, Busy P, Ebony Bones, Etienne de Crecy and Zombie Nation will rock their audiences.
