Vodafone offers complete fixed network solution to business customers

03 March 2008

Hanover, 3 March 2008. Vodafone has extended its product and service portfolio for business customers. The portfolio now includes full-value ISDN basic rate interfaces in connection with DSL packages for small businesses, businesses, companies with a lot of branch offices and freelancers to use communication products for fixed and mobile net-works from one single provider. One of the special highlights is a free tariff option which gives businesses unlimited free calls from their fixed network number to company Voda-fone telephones. The fixed network product will also be available with low-cost flat rate tariffs which customers can structure according to their requirements. A member of the Vodafone customer support team will be assigned to customers during the switch-over phase to ensure a smooth transition from the previous fixed network provider to Vodafone.

These Vodafone products are geared to small and medium-sized enterprises, com-panies with a lot of branch offices and freelancers who in the past had no option but to subscribe to different providers for fixed network and mobile communication solu-tions. Not only do the new Vodafone products cover all customer communication re-quirements from one single provider, their modular structure also gives users consi-derable cost-cutting potential. For example, the new Vodafone ISDN connection prices start at EUR 19.95 a month for a 24-month contract term.

Customers have two voice connection options. There's the ISDN comfort con-nection for up to eight phones or an ISDN system connection which enables the operation of a direct dial-in capable telephone system. The MobileGroup tariff op-tion includes unlimited talktime on up to four company Vodafone handsets. Custo-mers who opt for a framework contract get the CorporateGroup option in-cluded in the price for unlimited voice calls on up to 100 company Vodafone hand-sets. They can also book special tariff options for voice communications. These include the MobileFlat tariff for unlimited calls to the Vodafone network and the FestnetzFlat for free calls to German fixed network numbers (not including special-purpose num-bers). International companies can opt for the EuroFlat tariff.

Vodafone customers can even book a fast DSL connection tariff option that is customised to their needs. There are a total of five different options. The Vodafone-DSL flatrate is available from EUR 9.95 a month, including DSL connections that deliver data transmission rates of two, six and sixteen Mbit/s. Users who require a fixed IP address can book the Vodafone DSL Pro option for data rates of up to six or sixteen Mbit/s.

All the people who choose to profit from the Vodafone fixed network products receive support during the switch over from their previous fixed network provider. They get a customer advisor who takes care of all the formalities free of charge - from activation to billing-related issues. Vodafone even provides any fixed network hardware that the customer may need. It also offers an installation and PC confi-guration service subject to a separate charge. Vodafone's technical customer support sets standards, because fixed network customers can take advantage of a 24-hour fault clearing service which can also be reduced to eight hours by request.
