Düsseldorf, 12. August 2008. Football fans are delighted by Vodafone's decision to continue broadcasting all 612 first and second Bundesliga matches live and in full length in the 2008/2009 season for customers with 3G mobile phones . By booking the "Vodafone live! Football Flatrate", they can watch their favourite team play for just an extra € 7.50 a month. If two matches have the same kick-off time, they can also enjoy the excitement of both by using the conference function. The service even includes a summary of the match day's highlights. The individual matches are even available at no extra charge under the existing 3G tariff.
90 minutes of live action with the "Vodafone live! Football Flatrate"
Football fans with a 3G phone and the 'Vodafone live Football Flatrate' simply switch on their handset and watch the Bundesliga matches from the kick-off to the final whistle.
All Bundesliga matches are broadcast live and in full length on the match days. Users can either watch one Bundesliga match or use the conference function to switch between the excitement of two different matches. There's a live ticker with images so that customers can also keep up to date on match progress or check the latest league table status.
The flatrate can be used with any 3G mobile phone (contract and CallYa customers) in conjunction with a Vodafone contract with a minimum 12-month term and it only costs an additional EUR 7.50 a month. The first month is a free trial and not associated with any additional costs. Users also don't incur any costs during the winter and summer breaks.
Vodafone has a special treat for customers who don't need the conference function. It's an offer enabling them to watch all first and second Bundesliga matches at no extra charge under their 3G tariff. All they have to do is register on the Vodafone live! portal.
Booking the option
If you decide that you don't want to miss one more minute of football, you can subscribe to the football services at any Vodafone shop or on the Vodafone live! portal. An even faster alternative is to send a text message with the text 'Ball' to 55555. A response text message will be sent with a link to the portal where the football package can be booked.
